When used properly it is not only one of the most effective ways to lose weight but also to keep it off. Sadly, few people know this and so they are caught on the diet treadmill, trying one new diet after another, all to little or no avail.
I worked successfully with weight loss clients every week as the Consulting Hypnotist at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex in Montreal. Time and again people came into my office, desperate to lose weight for health reasons or to feel good about themselves again.

The problem is the automatic, computer like programs running in their subconscious mind. A program that is directing them to overeat, to eat the wrong foods, and to eat at the wrong times etc..
The result is that they eat when they are not even hungry. They eat when they are stressed, angry, bored or sad. And after eating at these times they feel even worse than ever for having eaten but at the time it seemed as though they had no control over the situation. They know this behavior sabotages their desired goal to lose weight but they do it anyway.
That is where hypnosis comes in. Through hypnosis we can communicate directly with the subconscious mind. When we do this we are working at the level at which the problem really exists.
This is the level where you get to change those dysfunctional programs that are running your eating habits. Change these programs and anyone can experience weight loss success. And the change process can be be both pleasant and easy.
So many people have mistaken ideas about hypnosis thanks to the antics of stage show hypnotists and Hollywood movies that they don't even think of using this powerful way to take back control of their eating habits.
