Don, Where did you receive your hypnosis training?
I enrolled at Sheila Granger's Virtual Gastric Band Seminar and Jerry Valley's Ultimate Hypnosis Stage Show Seminar.
Can you recall how you were first drawn to a career in hypnosis?
I attended a Hypnosis Stage Show at a resort while on vacation.
What do you enjoy about being a hypnotist?
Helping people gain control over an issue or a problem that has had control over them for much of their lives
Have you experienced any other personal benefits from using hypnosis for yourself that you would care to share with our readers?
I have a Virtual Gastric Band on my stomach through hypnosis and I have lost 52lbs since it was placed there in June 2012.
What issues do your clients typically come to you for help with in your hypnosis practice?

What is the most frequent misunderstanding about hypnosis in Odessa that you encounter with clients or the public in general?
That they can't be hypnotized or that they could become "stuck" in hypnosis. Both thoughts are untrue. If you dream while sleeping or if you can day dream, then you can be hypnotized.
Only in the movies can people become "stuck" in hypnosis.
Do you have any words of advice to potential clients?
Come with an open mind and be prepared to accept changes to your way of thinking.
Is there anything else that you would like to expand upon or add that we have not covered? Hypnosis is very real. The power of the mind is phenomenal.
