Dorothy M Neddermyer is a Hypnotist practicing in Phoenix Arizona.  Here, Dorothy introduces you to her approach in her own words.

Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, Ph.D. implements a highly effective protocol to discover the root cause of all issues and diagnosed symptoms. Emotional, Physical and Spiritual Transformation (EPST) is direct, focused and combines creating health while healing the past.

It is precise, powerful, virtually painless and an accurate way of changing the landscape of your inner and outer mind, body and spirit. EPST allows you to access your past, present and future - as well as your subconscious, and clear negative energy on all levels - Mind, Body and Spirit.

EPST transforms your doubts, fears, anxiety, blocks, indoctrinations and conditioning, and all diagnoses from Abdominal Pain to Zits and everything in between. Those issues  that keep you from living a more fulfilling and stress free life.

EPST works at the cellular and soul level thereby eliminating spiritual, mental, emotional and physical dysfunctions, blocks and challenges.

How long have you been a hypnotist Dorothy?

As a Certified Hypnosis Practitioner and a Certified Deep Healing Practitioner, I have 30+ years experience worldwide.

What attracted you to a career in Hypnosis?

Having witnessed first-hand the poor health care results of Traditional Western Medicine and Traditional Western Psychiatric modalities, I was compelled to read research on hypnosis and metaphysical healing modalities.

Have you experienced any personal benefits from using hypnosis for yourself that you would care to share with our readers?

I practice what I preach. I have experienced the benefits of hypnosis in Mind, Body and Spirit. I healed allergies, asthma, and migraine headaches.

Can you tell us about some of the teachers who have influenced your approach to hypnosis the most?

  • Hans ten Dam,
  • Janet Cunningham, Ph.D.
  • Raymond Moody, M.D
  • Brian Weiss, M.D
  • Michael Newton, M.D.

What issues do your clients typically come to you for help with. Do you specialize in helping people with certain issues?

I work with people for every diagnosis from A to Z. Abdominal Pain to Zits and everything in between.

I specialize in working with people who are seeking healing Mental/Emotional and Physical issues. I treat the root cause of the symptoms versus focusing on symptoms.

Do you find any particular phase of your hypnosis work to be of special interest to you?

All my work is one-on-one.  I work via face-to-face, phone, Skype or Google+.

What advice would you give a client before their first session of hypnosis?

Healing is easier than people think. It is a process that creates the health and peace of mind they deserve.

What is the most frequent misunderstanding about hypnosis that you encounter with clients or the public?

Some people think hypnosis is a magic wand. AND/or all the other dozens of myths.

If you could give potential and beginning hypnotists at least one piece of advice, what would it be?

Get quality training....instead of a weekend training.  Qualify for Certification by the 3 top certifying organizations.

  • American Hypnosis Training Academy, Inc. Silver Spring, MD. organized in 1991 as an educational, scientific, and professional organization dedicated to professionalizing the mental health specialty of hypnotherapy. The Board is committed to reflecting the diversity of its constituents and providing information to the public.
  • Bastyr University is a holistic medicine university with campuses in Kenmore, Washington, and San Diego, California. Programs include hypnosis and naturopathy
  • Hypnotherapy Academy of America™ Our State Licensed Hypnosis Courses and Clinical Hypnotherapy Training have led the field in hypnotherapy education for almost 30 years! We prepare you for the highest level of certification in hypnotherapy available in the nation with our comprehensive program, which is filled with life transforming techniques.

What would your favourite book on hypnosis be that you would recommend to others?

  • Deep Healing, Hans ten Dam

This is a text book used in training programs around the world. It describes a methodical way of working that transcends ordinary psychotherapy while retaining a professional attitude. It avoids artificial hypnotic inductions and psychic interventions, but ties in directly with the experiences of the client. The style is down-to-earth, to-the-point, practical and fearless.

  • Reframing by Richard Bandler and John Grinder

Reframing is a critical part of working with people and yet some of us know so little about it. A caller’s objections or a client’s mis-perception both have to be reframed and put into their proper light.

People who are talented in the art of reframing are perceived as smarter, they make more money, and their clients have better results.

This book shows you how to do it, along with giving you lots of techniques and understandings. It is a transcript of a live seminar that Bandler and Grinder did, but do not be fooled, this is one amazing book. I highly recommend picking up a copy.
